MidMichigan Health engaged The Innova Group to develop a plan and vision for healthcare services in Clare, Michigan. MidMichigan has an aged and oversized hospital in this market and wanted to develop a pathway forward to create a facility (either new or re-purpose portions of existing) that is aligned with the needs of the community, is cost-effective, and improves the health of the citizens in the region.

Innova led the planning effort with local and system leadership to define the optimal mix of services, while leveraging the health system resources (both clinical and support). Innova also studied market characteristics and travel patterns, forecasted clinical needs (including capacity), and characterized organizing and operating concepts for the architectural team to implement.
