Heather brings over 15 years of diverse healthcare experience, combining front-line care, clinical leadership, and healthcare construction expertise. Her unique background allows her to effectively bridge clinical needs with operational, design, and logistic strategies.
Prior to joining The Innova Group, Heather provided space programing, clinical design assessment, phasing, scheduling, conceptual budget estimating, clinical move logistics, and clinical activation planning for an academic healthcare system. She has a passion for bridging the gaps between clinicians, design professionals, and construction teams to ensure a shared understanding throughout all phases of a project – from conceptual planning to construction administration, and to go-live.
Heather’s experience as a nursing manager for several inpatient pediatric units has equipped her with valuable insights into staffing, day-to-day operations, and the achievement of care quality benchmarks. Additionally, she has worked in pediatric emergency, intermediate (step-down) care, oncology, and medical/surgical nursing.
